My professional life
Since over twenty years I am engaged with or within companies around the topics agility, lean, leadership, enterprise architecture, lean organization – or to say: continuous improvment to integrate modern ideas and new approaches to act to succeed in the market and to work with fun.
In my professional life I worked already as head business development at Digitec Galaxus transforming the company into an from CEO down agile and lean organization; distinguished consultant and partner at Zühlke Engineering; founder of the Suisse Agile Leader Circle SALC; lecturer at Universities in topics around innovation, agility, lean and digital readiness; founding member of the International Requirements Engineering Board IREB e.V.; as founder of my own company together with a colleague offering system architecture consulting services and bespoke software implementations; speaker in many conferences and venues. Rainer is engaged in the agile community in Switzerland with a long time passion.

My private life
For sure I have a private life. The time left I love to spend with my family, biking on any type of bike, occasionally with wind surfing, rock climbing or reading the latest novels by T.C. Boyle and Haruki Murakami. I would refer myself as complex thinker and humanist. The world is complex and acting in a complex world with many different opinions and flavors requires empathy and sensitivity – at least I belive in this.
